Data we process
We process the data you voluntarily send us through the website forms or by email: full name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message. While you browse, our servers also log technical data (such as IP address and browser type) needed for the website to work securely.
Purpose and legal basis
Data is used only to reply to your requests and, where requested, to prepare a quotation. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Technical browsing data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in website security (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Job applications
If you send us an application through the Careers page, we process the form data and the information in your CV only to assess your profile and, where appropriate, contact you for an interview. Your CV is emailed to the staff in charge of recruitment and is not stored on the website. We keep applications for as long as needed for recruitment and in any case no longer than 24 months from receipt. Please do not include unnecessary data in your CV, such as health information.
Retention
We keep request data for as long as needed to handle it. If a business relationship follows, data is kept for the period required by law.
Recipients
Data is not disclosed or sold to third parties. It may be processed on our behalf by our hosting and email service providers, appointed as data processors.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to info@stefa.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
